New
Remodeler Configuration - Proper configuration is now available
right out of the box and at no extra charge for Remodelers using
SoftPlan Version 13. The recent release of Remodeler Configuration
as an optional, standard feature eliminates the need for defining
complex wall types within SoftPlan Pro and offers a comprehensive
remodeling solution in SoftPlan Lite which previously did not have
a method of differentiating walls. (click

Equal
Post Spacing can be produced easily in just a few
short steps. Place your far left and far right posts (or
top and bottom). Turn on Snap. Select Divide into Segments.
When you move to the first post, the cursor will pull to
the center of the post. Use this as the starting point.
Pull to the center of the other post, and click again. Then,
just set how many segments you want. Keep Snap turned on.
Go to one post, select Copy, and pull it to the first division
mark. The center should snap to a dividing point. Then,
select how many times you want it to copy. This will auto
place the other posts exactly where they need to be.

SoftPlan
Survey Results - The question from the Fall newsletter
was “Prior to purchasing SoftPlan, how were your drawings
created?” Of the respondents, an overwhelming 57% previously
created drawings by hand. Just 17% had used AutoCAD, and the rest
of those surveyed did not do drawings or had used an outside source.
