I noticed announcement on the Softplan home page that version 2016.2.5 includes ANSI Standard low voltage symbols. I can't find any new symbols in the library. Am I missing something?

This is what I have for Low Voltage. Don't know if it's different than what you have?

Interesting - you appear to have libraries I don't have Yvon .... I know I created the Switches Library separately. But the Lights and Low Voltage sections seem to be absent.

I don't know if it installed when I did the "Download Additional Content" after the patch for the 2016.2.5 patch. But I had the same problem then when I did the original install, it stalled after an hour or so and I didn't try it again but these symbols in my system right now don't seem to be linked to a 3D symbol so I don't know if they are strictly 2D symbols or the 3D didn't install?

Haven't installed the additional content yet, that 2.75GB will take all day out here, and then people will complain about "someone" using all the bandwidth.

I have now installed the "Additional Content" and the LOW VOLTAGE library is now available.

This brings up another issue. Do we have to install additional content regularly manually, and if so, does it install everything everytime, or is it intelligently selective (I know, I needn't have asked that)?

It seems to reload everything. I would imagine that this would be required only after patches or upgrades (but this is logic talking  )

Are your low voltage symbols strictly 2D or are linked to 3D symbols?

They all appear to be 2D only Yvon.

Which actually makes sense if they are ANSI Standard low voltage symbols.
