after creating the site model

i got in 3D and elevation mode

this odd plane partially above the foundation

it is also visible inside the building when i put

the next storey on top

 

please help

Do you have a building outline to cut thru the site? If yes, is it adjusted properly to the foundation?

Go to Visible Items and check Display Everything and see if you can identify it there.

Yvon, thanks, that was the solution

 

in site mode i had to create a new building outline

because the basement walls with footing did not

extend deep enough into the steep sloping of the property

so i had to add an additional foundation

to the existing building

removing the old basement in site mode and merging the

new one with "GENERATE BUILDING OUTLINE" from the foundation plan

solved the problem

the odd artefacts have disappeared
