Apparently I've forgotten how to save an animation for sending to a client.

What settings work?

output.jpg

The thing seems to run but gives a 64K file

that doesn't run on windows 7

Thanks

Glenn

What version of softplan are you using?  That screen shot looks different than mine.  I never could get them to work on V14 and think maybe 2012 as well...works great in 2014-2016

2012 here.

I used to use them back about v10 or so. I just forget the settings.

Maybe it's the compression type?

I have a client that is asking for them.

I usually send screen shots.

I never used the animation before until 2016 for the walk thru so not exactly the same but notice that your image size is kind of high and not standard (I think). Try with 1280 x 720 maximum.

I never used the "Keep temporary frames" so I don't know if that has an impact?

This was not a walk thru but a rotation which I've done many times in the past.

Keeping temp frames was a mistake but doesn't affect the final output.

In the end I used Snagit to make a video.

How is the latest version vs 2012?

I've felt the upgrades were usually good but often not worth the bucks.

2016 versus 2012 is a very decent improvement
