Just loaded SoftPlan 2016 onto iMac through Parallels and Windows 7.

I have a keyboard that plugs in, with the number pad on the side. The keypad doesn't work on the PC side, not problems when on the iMac side. Also, cannot enter measurements like 5'6" in Softplan, have to enter 66 and it automatically adds the " when I hit return.

Has anyone else had this issue and managed to solve it?

I don't think it is a SoftPlan issue, I think it is a Parallels issue

Found the issue

All fixed...requires a little bit more playing around

I end up fully booting up in windows on my mac because sharing the ram just doesn't work as well. I wish they would release a full mac version of SP like many of their competitors have done.

I'm actually just back to using Softplan after many years and there is some issues using Parallels on Mac that I do not particularly like. Most likely a settings thing I need to figure out.

Looking forward to using Softplan again, hope you don't mind...I'm sure I'll have many questions

Chris, it is better to use Bootcamp than Parallels to run SoftPlan. I know it is a pain to have to reboot the Mac but the results are more than worth the effort.

I gave up...too many features missing when loaded on a Mac, so I pulled out a 18 month old PC and loaded up...now I have new issues.

Many crashes now with Softplan 16

Chris, I would say that your problems are not Mac related. It's still much better to use Bootcamp than Parallels.

I totally agree with Richard. Parallels is garbage. tried it for a week and went back to bootcamp. works way better.
