Even 4 mins is a long time when you're sitting watching it, waiting to keep working.
Just wish I had the opportunity to try it!

You guys taking forever to print to .pdf. I have a printer called Adobe PDF, not sure what SP uses to print to .pdf. Perhaps its some settings with your .pdf software? Just a thought. When I print to .pdf, I hover the mouse over a sheet in the planset/opposite mouse click/export .pdf/all pages/ok/give name/save. It never takes more then 30 seconds or so.

Don't think that uses YOUR pdf driver, Joseph. That will use the built in driver in Softplan. And that's the one everyone is complaining about in 2016.

Printing with any other PDF driver (CutePDF or Adobe), rather than exporting, works snappily. Does anyone know of a way that it can batch print to one file directly - or to "print" pages without being prompted for a file name for every page? Still looking for a way to be more productive in the meantime..

I used to use PDFcreator which had the ability to wait and hold drawings in a queue. Then you could click a button to combine all sheets into 1 PDF and then save. I have not used the PDF printer since SoftPlan implemented it in 2014 and I really wish not to go back but I share the same lengthy export time.

Oh snap...just had my first 2 minute+ .pdf print. Funny how everything up till just today was lightning fast like in 2014. Now I understand Harry's original post.
