Slope with Reference option added causes symbols to follow the plane that they are sitting on.

Looks very promising. I hope this is what I had been hoping for. I should be able to create tile ridge cap symbols that would plane with the roof rather than messing with the y rotation all the time. It should work well with the off ridge vent symbols as well. Again, assuming that is what this can do. Though I am still holding out for the ability to rotate in the y axis...

The slope to reference looks like a good start.

Instead of having to have a reference I would just rather enter the slope of any symbol

...and even better be able to rotate any symbol or solid on all 3 axis in Softview.

One feature that I have always wanted in Softplan (I did send suggestion to SP) was to show the height of (Header Height) the windows.

Would be nice to have a check box like we have for “Rough Opening Size” that we could check to display the HH.

Several great new features in this new version

Here are a few that stood out to me:

Rendered top down view of the floorplan

Window stools and apron

Shading and textures added to elevations

Dutch Gable overhang settings

New centering tools

Gable ladder framing

Center point on arcs

Quoins work on multiple floors

Improvements to wall framing

Good job SoftPlan!
