I have just purchased a new laptop. Is there a way to transfer all my span tables and system drawings?

Try Archiving EVERYTHING:

FILE > SYSTEM OPTIONS > SYSTEM OPTIONS > ARCHIVE - Check ALL - Backup - and on your new laptop do the same and RESTORE.

For your span tables, go in System Options>Archives and select the required Tables then Backup. Then you can transfer to new computer and do a restore the same way.

Obviously do the ARCHIVE to a flash drive ....
