That  would be awesome for Softplan .... Just imagine designing with those glasses on though!

For anyone who is interested in 3D printing from Softplan, if you export the 3D Model as a .3DS from the 3D window, Meshlab (http://meshlab.sourceforge.net) is an open source program that can import .3DS and export as a .STL file.

 

OR so the site claims. I haven't tried it, but a friend pointed it out in graphic forum. If anyone tries it, I'd be interested to know how good the results were.

i believe some 3d printers can put textures on the exterior walls

and also the roof.

 

would be interesting what the price would be from an internet

3d printing company .

 

anyone up for doing research on this subject ?
