I created a door with a ventilated glazing unit in it. It shows properly in SketchUp but in Softplan, the glazing frame sticks out on both sides of the door panel. Any ideas?
Thanks

... You may end up having to draw glazing in using lines and a bead for the window.
Really defeats the object of creating the door in Sketchup in the first place though doesn't it! Doing that you may as well create it directly in Softplan.

Have you tried to create the same thing in Softplan, by building up solids, and using various materials, for the door, frame, beads, sash and glazing, and then saving the resulting 3D as a DWG file. Then creating the Softplan door the same way you would use a Sketchup model. It might work better that way.

Ok, sort of solved part of it with tech support. It was suggested at first to exploded the glazing so it was just shapes but linking the Sketchup 3D door, Softplan wouldn't recognize that their was a glazing so no settings for glass. Had to redo the elevation opening with the Opening Shape>Hung (as I had done originally) but turn off the frame on all sides before saving it as an elevation opening so there wouldn't be the frame sticking out. But basically it's not taking the Sketchup 3D door in consideration therefore if you have a glazing in a door, don't bother creating a 3D symbol to link to it as it's a waste of time.
