how to shade lightly on interior and exterior wall for the presentation drawing?

edit the wall and put a gray color inside the stud wall.

play with it by printing a few test walls.

Go to wall definition and set the stud to solid. Then choose a gray color and set the pen to a light setting.

I was wondering how i can make half walls look hollow instead of solid like my exterior walls for presentation purposes. I currently have settings on my half walls to have "none" in shading but they still show up solid like my exteriors wall. Why is this happening?
