I am doing an apartment building that has a flat roof and at the edge they want a custom cornice that will be made with multiple pcs of Fypon.  How can I create someting like this and have it appear at the edge of my roof?

the easiest way would probably be to draw a "cornice profile" in the profile library.

note: you draw the frieze profile to any configuration and size you want..

it's pretty easy once you learn how to draw a profile.

you could also create a custom profile and put in on one of

the bandings

or

use any of the predrawn profiles.

or as I said before, you can create your own profile / shape

go into /

draw / detail / profile and look at all the predrawn in their respective libraries.

pick one you like and put it on the screen and edit it if you need to

or just use the ones out of the box.  you can resize them when editing.

this is just a test image to show you one of many profiles you can use

note:

you can put on as many profile as your design calls for.

and use any of your textures

Depending on the location, the way you describe what you want, it may be that you want a shadow board instead. You can do the same as Randy suggests but instead of a frieze, you can make the profile a shadow board and then it will appear on the fascia instead of the top of the wall ... or if you're really adventurous, you could use a shadow board and a frieze to make a very large profile.

Randy,

Your explanation on how to make the custom roof cornice was spot on.  It took just minutes and I had my buildings roof edge just the way the builder wanted it.

Thank you for all of your help.
