... No plywood on the deck till the wall is built ...
Do you mean that the wall is sitting on the rim NOT the floor sheathing?
Here, we always put the wall on top of the floor sheathing.

No Keith its on the floor osb. We build the wall on the deck. Nail the wall together, rack it. (square it) Then sheet it while its on the flat on the deck, cut out the openings, then staple our house wrap starting from the top. Then stand it up. Then the bottom of the leftover wrap covers the bond. The exterior sheathing ends up flush with the bond. (Thats how we do it here) Tip: After the deck is built I always take 5 gallons of thompson or other water sealer and put a fine coat over the entire deck so when the house is done the floor is like brand new no matter how much mud and dirt you trample during construction. Helps with the finish floor. 100.00$ investment. It can rain all it wants and your OSB wont swell up at the joints. I highly recommend this.. One cheap throw away roller and pole works fine. One guy dumps and the other guy rolls. Takes 10 minutes.

around here they usually like to overlap the plywood below top of concrete about an 1" (+/-)
and use a "Z" flashing with caulking at bottom of plywd .
have seen It done a few ways and not sure what's the best for long term protection and life.
