What other apps is there besides Drop Box and Submittal Exchange?   Looking for recommendations for non tech end user....some of the builders I run into need a lot of hand holding so I am looking for something other than those mentioned here.

Thanks

If I have to send large files WETRANSFER.COM handles files FREE upto 2GB (you can have a paid service for more than 2GB if you wish). Unlike Dropbox etc. there is no permanent storage. You upload your files to "Wetransfer", and they email your "target subject" with a link to download the files. They have 7 days to download the files before they are deleted.

In my opinion, it work MUCH better/easier/simpler than other methods, and there no passwords to remember and no odd security to worry about.

I use a product ThunderBird made my Mozilla as my desktop email client. They have a feature that allows me to attach a drawing to an email and then upload to Box.com which is very much like a DropBox. Then the email includes a link to the PDF file that I sent over to them instead of the file being attached with its large size.

What I like about this is that I only upload my final construction sets because everything else is usually smaller in size. Then I have the Box.com app on my cell phone so I am able to view the PDF files for all my construction document sets while I am out and about if need be.

And again free to a certain size but I have not had a problem.

I have had problems with Dropbox as it has not been syncing correctly form web to desktop.  I have found that Google Drive is a bit more stable plus they have the money to throw at it.  They also are cheaper for their storage based on my needs.
