Good Afternoon,

New rendering, new questions!  I am trying to render a building with many different stone finishes.  How can I change the texture on walls individually, not on all occurrences of the wall type?  I thought the "Material Texture Edit" box would enable me to do what I need, but I just seemed to mess up my finished.  Do I need to define a wall for each new texture?

Thanks,

Dave

Yes. You can ONLY have one texture per material. If you want to have a wall with a different texture, it HAS to have a different material and therefore, a different wall definition. An exception to this is an opening, ALL DIFFERENT openings can be assigned a different finish.

TIP: If you have 2 identical openings that you want to be finished differently, click ADD PRODUCT CODE and change it's name - just add a prefix to the original name.
