How do I change horizontal siding to be 6" or 8" lap as opposed to the 4" lap that is the default texture.

Kevin,

 

Edit the paint textures and change the vertical percent to 150. ie; 4" x 150% = 6"

Surface Edit the siding in 3D and change the vertical default dimension ( 1'-4" ) 

to 1'-4" x 1.5 = 2'-0", uncheck Maintain Aspect Ratio if you do not want the

horizontal distance changed.
