Good Morning,

Took the plunge and downloaded 2018, and I opened my first project and the Frieze boards dropped to lower/different heights on many of the walls.  Removing the Frieze and the checking it back on does not fix the location.

I quit without saving, then tried to open 2016 to make sure my project is ok, and I cannot start 2016, from the 2016 desktop icon or from inside the 2016 folder.

Please help, I am not in a position to have to "fix" 2018 quirks on all my projects...

Thanks,

Dave

The roof problem is a known issue see this thread http://softplan.com/...7-roof-problems ... although it may have been fixed in the 2018.3.0 patch, as I haven't noticed it lately.

Once you have opened a project in 2018, you can NOT reopen it in 2016 to check that it's alright. Only 2018 will reopen it.

The 2018 install should NOT have overwritten anything from 2016, I'd check with Technical Support.

When I install a new version of SP, I always have multiple backups of my projects so I can go back to the original files if necessary.

Thanks, Keith, but my roof is fine, just the Frieze board on the wall is in the wrong location, and a reboot did not resolve the issue.  I'll contact tech on the 2016 issue...

My save as image is not working either, as shown in the attempted images.

My Frieze is offset @ 16" below the wall. Tech support said it's been noted and that was it. He suggested that I change the sheathing location. Cut Plumb seemed to work at quik glance last evening. No explanation as to Frieze and Roof sheathing interaction.

Author Description Colin  This issue has already been forwarded onto our development team for further review. In the meantime, I would recommend changing the Sheathing Placement to either Sheathing Lower Corner at Fascia Edge or Plumb Cut Sheathing at Fascia Edge. C124 Frieze board option not working ? See screen shot.
