Good Afternoon,

working on a 2016 drawing in 2018, with an elevation that was saved to a softplan file.  I edit a window, then click on add exterior trim and nothing happens.  Add a shutter right above it works fine.  Tried several projects with the same result.  process works fine in 2016 following the same steps, it adds a trim board over the window, that can then be edited.

Does this work for anyone?

Thanks,

Dave.

You'll probably find the trim is there ... try and edit it ... I think that it is REALLY thin though. Try and edit it and change the width.

Again ... right click - EXTERIOR TRIM > EDIT and change the thickness from 0.000" to something a little more substantial ...

Although why the default to no thickness, I'm not sure.

I don't believe that the dimensions themselves are selectable, just the trim, which defaults to 0.000" on elevation openings no matter what is selected.

Trim is adding with 0.000" size. Reported on CO-47169. Should be fixed in next patch.

Please try it now. Should be fixed in the 2018.3.1 patch.

Yes, it appears to be working correctly now.
