i was thinking of getting a smaller laptop to make my work more portable. i am currently using a Dell XPS laptop w/ 17" screen. Is anyone using a Surface Pro 3-4-5 to run Softplan and how does it perform? Is the small screen difficult to navigate the icons?

I have a Pro 3 that I use when I travel.  It was a bit of time to get 2016 to a place where I was able to like it on the Surface however it seems that 2018 works a lot better on it visually.  With that all said you do have to get used to going from whatever size screen(s) you have to the smaller but besides full rendered mode it works great (I have done textured mode fine in 3D)

I used the Pro 3 and couldn't get past the screen size, ended up with a Dell 17" laptop for travel and site work.

I use the Surface Pro when I travel but could never use it on a regular basis. I am no where near as productive as when I am at my desktop with multiple screens.
