Good Afternoon,

 

I would like to understand the softplan cloud, and what gets copied to it.  Specifically, if I add pictures and pdfs to a project folder, are they backed up to the cloud, and are they downloaded to someone sharing a project?  Will all folders and documents follow suit?  It looks like folders in my project folder location that are not softplan folders do not get copied.  Is that right?

 

I have a client that we will be working on many projects together, and we need to share support files as well as softplan files.

Only SoftPlan files are copied to the cloud.

To share pictures, pdf's etc you should look into a file sharing like DropBox.

pretty sure that anything in the project,   pdfs jpeg will save to the cloud

If the PDF is attached to a drawing or a project (you can see it on the screen)  it will but not just because it is in the folder

Thank you all.  Tom, that is good info.  I was testing what goes and never thought to test an attached pdf...
