Hello,
I am a single family home builder looking for someone to modify existing plans and design new ones. I build 15-20 homes and looking to pay someone per job. I am looking for someone who has been drawing plans for at least 7 years.

I have been using Softplan for over 15 years
Residential Home Design/House Plan Specialist
I have a background in construction. I am a licensed Contractor in the state of Georgia. My father and grandfather were both carpenters/home builders. I started framing houses at the age of 13 and have 32 years experience in home construction, so I know how a house goes together. I have helped build (either through framing, contracting, designing) over 500 homes.
I specialize in helping contractors/home owners design a home that meets their needs/life.

I have been using Softplan for 24 years and I am a plus subscriber. I don't have an updated resume because I have been on my own for the last
14 years. But I can give you a breakdown of my experience.
Out of college I went to work for a floor and roof truss manufacturer.
That gave me good structure experience. After a year and a half of doing that I found a job at a lumber yard / construction company doing take off and then designing all the homes that the construction side built. I managed the inventory and designed the homes for 10 years. I even worked on site when they needed the help. I then decided to go on my own in
2004 and have been designing and working with contractors ever since.
I have worked with a lot of local builders, realtors and home owners over the past 24 years of being in the trade.

I am also a Certified Professional Building Designer and take my profession very seriously. My plans are the best in the area and that's what I strive for.

I have 2 employees that I employ so you wouldn't get lost in my other projects. I would treat you just like my other valuable clients and get your projects done in a timely manner.
