I have a concrete wall with framed knee wall over it in my wall definition. I set the dimensions and extensions to the concrete wall. If my display height cuts thru the concrete wall, then I'm ok but if it cuts thru the framed knee wall, it dimensions to the framed wall. Is there a way around or it's the age old problem that you can select what you want but you're not going to get it?

One method would be to add a 'None' material at the face of the the concrete that extends the full height. It can have 0" thickness and have visibility disabled. Set the dimensions and extensions to that material and it won't matter where the Display Height falls within the wall.

If doing this with a brick/siding wall, that None material can be set to the top portion of the wall and set to a dashed texture to indicate the thicker wall below.
