HI, I was creating typical sheets with notes, etc....

upon saving them, some are listed in the navigation window as "floor plans", and some appear in the navigation window as "Drawings".

I'd like my drawings to show up in drawings, not floor plans.

any thoughts?

As far As I'm aware, that's not possible.

you can drag and drop them down there to the drawings, there is something that makes drawings go there, ? hmmm, see a patch just hit,

hmmmmm, seems like elevations saved go there as a drawing SP automatically, so guess the      Drawing your talking about is   "elevation Drawings"

From what I can deduce is that you create a floor plan (could be a plan or a sheet that has say general notes on it) while Softplan generates drawings (from the 3D model or similar).  Clarify for me Michael; are you using plan sets or multi-drawings?  The sheets that you are creating can be easily done in plan sets.  With that also said it doesnt really matter (in my  opinion) what they are called as long as you can find them and use them.

I agree with Tom that plan sets are the way to go.

Then all those sheet "drawings" automatically go under the plan set heading in the navigation window.

This really helps to reduce drawing clutter.
