This is an old project that I am trying to embellish.  I cannot figure out how to get the foliage (tress & shrubs) to snap to the ground plane?  Or, how to adjust the ground plane?   I have searched the manual hi & lo but cannot find mention of this.

You are going to have to create a site plan. The only thing you can do to the artificial horizon is set the offset to the lowest floor "zero" level.

The manual covers the site plan pretty well. When you set your grades on the site plan the tress and shrubs will snap to that grade. Don't add them until you are happy with the grades.

Thanks - This house did not have an actual site as the client was site shopping with the plan.  so, I will create a site plan.  How did you get all the trees in the background?  I do not see them on your site plan.

I spent an afternoon snooping around the internet looking for interesting (free) background images.

The ground plane can be easily adjusted for height ...

In the 3D go to OPTIONS > SETUP OPTIONS and check /adjust the height of the AUTO HORIZON

Quick and dirty would be Auto Horizon.

The Site Plan suggestion would be an approach that opens up lots of grade possibilities.

I use the Site Plan method.  Checkout the below link
