Has anyone noticed that when you try to add a reference point to an exterior wall that it wants to put the point on the material and not the bearing?  It also happens when drawing a line or box.  Is there a setting that I am missing?

As far as i remember, it's always been that way. There's no setting, but once placed, the point can easily be moved to where you want it

Personally I think it should snap to the same point on the wall that's defined as the TRACE WALL POSITION in the wall definition.

On 2016 the outside material was never able to snap when the material was turned off in the wall definitions. This is a new thing in 2018.
