I love love love the plan set templates. This time saver is huge!

I know I've spent much time (and many +support tickets) noting some bugs, but overall I'm satisfied with how the software continues to improve.

Harry,

Would you mind sharing how you have setup your planset templates? Will this require all drawings to be labeled the same in every file?

symbol editing

you can check "maintain aspect ration"

when editing a symbol and change

one dimension and the other dimensions

will maintain their ratio

with each other.

As I create a plan set, I will neatly name and order them (Cover, Front and Rear Elevations, etc) and reference in the correct drawings. I do not use the auto-label feature (yet) but it seems label it exactly as you name the file. This label can also be manually edited.

When loading a plan set from template, it seems to pull in most files, including those that do not match exactly. Wherever there is something missing, there is a dialog that you can change the reference. I thought it to be very intuitive.

I love the improvements to Plan Sets.

- Auto labeling - I didn't think I'd use the auto-labeling but I really like that all of my drawing now have the same size label no matter what scale I bring it in as.

- Drawing Schedule - It is easy to use and automates something I was doing manually.

- Grouping drawings - improved

- templates - I've been wanting this since 2012 came out.  Very nice!

Now if I could get Softplan to not auto-rotate my text when I rotate a drawing in plan sets.... I'd be really happy.

The small jump arc that softplan now automatically places when two electrical arcs cross is very nice.  Makes your drawings look classy.
