Is there a way to preset what scale drawings load into a plan set at when dragging?

The majority of the time I use 1/4"/1'. If I drag a drawing onto the page I'd like it to come in at that scale- if it doesn't fit I would most likely use another sheet not downsize the drawing- talking mainly about floor plans.

It doesn't really make sense to me to have a drawing load at 0.0852"/ 1' just because I happened to drag into an odd spot on the sheet.

I agree with this completely.

I primarily use 1/8" scale and woiuld like it to always use this scale uinless I decide to change it.

The alternative would be to select a standard scale that will fit.

It is embarrassing to publish a plan set after dragging a drawing onto the sheet that LOOKS close to scale but then you look at the title and it is really 1' - .1126"

This has been suggested to tech support and I hope we see it in a patch or at least in the next release.

Agreed, I'd like to ALWAYS pull in my drawings at 1/4" scale whether they fit or not, and then use MY judgment how to adjust from there.

But to answer your question, I don't believe there is a way to lock the scale at the moment.
