I'd love to see just a little narrative on how softlist has changed, so I don't have to figure it out.

The only major thing I have noticed is the report formatting and the fact that the report is live once generated. It constantly updates as you edit the plan. The unreported items are listed separately as well.

There is a Friday Fundamental on YouTube devoted to SoftList 2018. Also one of the Friday Fundamentals that was devoted to "What's new in 2018 had a fair amount about the new SoftList features. Personally I think the advances in the live reporting are outstanding.

^{I'm leaving the softlist configuration to system, so i'm assuming any changes I do to the formulas, will update to the system, and be set  for next time I  Start a new project.}

^{I just need to get some things straight in my mind. I think once I make a change on the list, it doesn't change if I regenerate.}
