i would like to know how to build a

sloped wall  between to roof levels respectively two rooms

with different heights  (open concept)

showing the outside covering, see picture

i have tried this with various wedges and cubes but it

does not fulfill my expectations

thank you for your suggestions

Use a standard wall definition to suit. Rake bottom (adjust heights at ends as necessary) and fit top to roof. You have to make sure that the lower roof is outside the line of the wall, or it will try to fit to that.

This command is great for curbed stair walls; raked tops or bottoms....or both.

thanks, indeed a great command and i got it

it seems to work perfectly on inside walls

but on 2 outside walls (different heights) one inside wall with an outside wall on top

all joining together i got some small  issues

- you can call it a nitpickers problems -

i was playing with wall join tolerance but it is very tricky

to get it right so it looks perfect,

especially the corner boards and the framing

see picture

maybe someone has more experience in detail

that would be great

thanks

Stefan,

That's a really awkward junction, normally I turn off the corner boards, and have made a small angled symbol that replicates a corner board, that I can use to cover the corner above the roof line.

I'd also change the upper wall to hidden on the plan - in my experience, that will also make a mess of the wall joins.

Good call Keith.  I do the same thing.  I have a symbol that is the same size as my corner boards, I explode and adjust height, offset and texture to match corner boards.

Wall Join:  Chances are that intersection connecting properly in plan view is naught or as Stefan says "tricky"....hence the need for a join YES/NO button for each end...previous conversation leads me to believe programming requirements leave it not possible for SoftPlan to achieve a proper connection look in plan view.
