I'm using Cute PDF Writer but solid colours come out pixelated rather than solid, increasing the dpi doesn’t work.

Is there a better pdf writer or am I not using Softplan settings correctly?

Can you post an example of what you are seeing? I use CutePDF on occasion and have never had any issues.

If you are using PlanSets, you can right click over your Planset in the "Navigation" pane and you'll be presented with a shortcut menu that will allow you to "Print to PDF". I have used this for the last few years and haven't had any issues with PDF generation

Hi

I have attached a typical drawing where the colours are not solid.

I don't have reView to export pdf but am looking getting this on board.

Maybe export pdf will work?

The results shown are pretty typical of Pdfs. Don't know if there's a way to have a real solid shade.

The issue you are experiencing is not a PDF or PDF writer issue.

It appears to me you are using AREA calculations and printing out those defined color areas.

The hatching pattern is the pattern that AREA uses and therefore that is the way it will print.

If you want a SOLID color, then you should use ROOM mode. That will give you the look you are after.

See a comparison of ROOM mode vs AREA mode.
