Good morning.

I have been following the 2018 forum. Currently use 2016. Does 2018 have the 'bugs' worked out.

Considering 2018? I am softplan plus member.

There are still a few minor bugs, but the upgrades made in 2018 in my opinion still outweigh the bugs.

I agree with Keith.  Upgrades are worth but it really will depend on what/how you draw.  Some items are more prominent than others with a bigger learning curve (Softlist changes).  Others not so bad.  And some bugs that others have I never encountered.

I agree that  the improvements outweigh  the very minor bugs that exist. If you use SoftList, I would definitely make the upgrade. As Tom said there is a bit of a learning curve, but the live reporting is amazing and a real time saver for me.

That is great to hear. It remains a separate program as before? Think I have from v13 to 2016.

i would recommend upgrading.  I also feel like this upgrade had less bugs then previous upgrades.... I have been happy with it.

I would have to agree the improvements outweigh the bugs.

It can be frustrating at times but it seems you can always find a work around until the actual issue is fixed.

SoftPlan+ support has been very attentive to any problems that have come to light.

For me, it has been the most buggy release in several years. I've only worked on smaller jobs in 2018, and will not be transferring any big jobs for awhile at least. It has some great new features, but the bugs are annoying.

I agree ... they are a lot better now, but I don't ever remember so many bugs on the initial release. Even things that weren't new seem to have been changed and have bugs, when they worked perfectly before. However, as Rick says, Softplan + support has been very good.

The support and this forum are great. It is nice to know the tech support value our feedback and are genuinely interested in our needs.
