Is it possible to create a second Model for Generating Elevations? Because I do a lot of detached garages or pool cabanas and I have to always remove all of my building from the Model to make the drawings for the garage.

I would say that you could use cross-section lines to create some of you elevations. This way, you can select a view between the house and garage and also control the length of the view your generating.

You could make two separate Models, one for your house and one for the outbuilding, ..

I think then, that both can be incorporated into a 'Neighborhood' where you can try out different display or render options.

.. invariably, someone will have a simpler solution.

Thought I'd already replied to this ... Damn I'm getting old.

I agree with Douglas. Neighborhood is the way to go that way, the buildings can be completely separate and added to a single site plan. That way they keep all their own finishes etc. The only one I've done was flat, but I think you can set building elevations separately to adjust heights etc.

Thanks guys. I will try out the neighborhood. Never used it before but sounds like it should do what I ask.

Try placing the house and garage on separate building options.

Thanks Yvon, between you and my wife, I think I'm getting an inferiority complex. Although my wife would say it's not a complex ....
