Its little things like this with SP that frustrate me to no end.....You make a stunning rendering and then the surface shows up like this.

look at the wall surface.  under the porch it is correct and around the double window it has been skewed.

that is the same wall.  There are not two walls.

You can edit the width of the texture image to make the siding features line up properly and it looks like you have different texture setting on each wall. Are they different wall definitions?

According to Allen ... "that is the same wall.  There are not two walls."

Try PERFORM ITEM CLEANUP in the wall edit menu.

Keith, tried wall cleanup, no go.  In the preview it appeared as it should.

Thanks.

I do a lot of night time renderings...(soffit lighting, etc).  They (textures) are amazing.

Believe it or not, I actually drew those textures. There are no photographs whatsoever involved.

With regards to the original question, I stripped the drawing down to just that wall and it appears to relate to the presence of the interior wallcovering. Remove the wallcovering(s) and the exterior texture should scale consistently from end to end. Reported on CO-48128.

I'm curious if you can make this occur with a shipped siding wall?

The texture is just a simple seamless jpg, there's no reason at all to suspect that it should affect the render ... especially since as you said, it was the interior wallcovering (another simple jpg) that may have been the culprit.

It should be repeatable with ANY other texture.

I was referring to the wall definition, not the siding texture. It is definitely repeatable with other textures. All of the walls on the drawing are custom.

Revisiting this topic.

The solution is to edit the texture that is stretched and under the  Options tab the 'Texture Map Type' should be set to 'Orthographic' rather than 'Box'.

Check the Texture itself, ..

under 'Options' check to see that the 'Texture Map Type' is set to one of the options only, ..

sometimes (and I have no idea why), multiple radio buttons are 'on', .. set it to one of them only, .. more than likely it should be 'orthographic', ..

Edit, ..

.. oops!, .. too late!

.. invariably, someone will have a simpler solution.

Douglas, correct.  I am finding multiple "radio" buttons checked....No idea why this is happening but have learned to check for the fore-mentioned.
