Is there a way to extract from the drawings the wall types being used (with their material composition), tag the walls and create a Wall Type Legend or schedule?

Not that I know of, but if you go to the wall menu, the walls used in the drawing are listed at the top of the menu.

 

It might not be too difficult to pull up the list and add them into a custom table.

 

The material composition might be a little more difficult.

 

 

But it is doable ...

All CAD systems have PLUSES and MINUSES. Even Softplan can't be the industry leader in ALL categories ...

Has this been addressed in the new version of Softplan? Or.. there an easy way to add up the lineal footage's of different wall types?

I don't use SoftList much at all, but I am sure some of the gurus have ways to get the lists to spit out LF of wall types.

Have you tried auto labeling the wall and then checking the box to add it to your Keynote schedule? Would that work for you?

I think a request to add a wall schedule to softplan was added a few months ago.
