I use grey fill on my walls (the solid not the new shading) and black for marketing plans.

Is there a way to have both on different modes, without having to change them back and forth?

I change the 16 pen from grey to black and vise versa.

I use the Review mode or a Custom mode for the marketing plan.

Thanks,

I guess it could work with the 'show/ print walls solid' but I can't find a way to change the red color to black. Can you change that color?

Ahh- found it. Under Assign Colors- New wall color. Changed that to black and now the show/ print solid is black.

One problem: I like to have half walls show with no fill or color. I doesn't seem like there's anyway to do that? Is it all or nothing?

I don't think that will make any difference to how it prints though. I suspect that the "RED" would print black as well. Try a PDF print (so you don't waste paper and ink) and see if it makes a difference.

I'll check, but it shows up on the plan set page as red, so I was assuming that's how it would print.

You're right, Keith- it prints black.

It is odd that the color shows on the plan sheet- everything else seems to display as printed.

The print colour is set by the defined Print Pen Styles NOT the displayed colours. I suspect MOST users have ALL their pens set to black.

For my marketing plans I have another separate drawing with different pen settings that I merge my floor plan into.  Once merged the walls take on the new settings.
