When i open softplan it takes 55-57 seconds to get to the start screen.  Is this normal?  It seems with all the updates, this continues to progress (get longer).

If i could post a video i would.

Agreed. I have noticed this as well since the 2018.4.4 update.

I've also noticed how slow SoftPlan is to open. Mine isn't quite as slow as Allen's is, but it still takes over 40 seconds to get to the start screen.

And it takes another 25 seconds to open a project. This is a project for a new 1200sf house build with all permit-ready drawings.

Yes, I noticed that too ... I even read through them again with a feeling of deja vu before I realised.

I've seen the behaviour before and attributed it to the large number of projects I had on the cloud. I went through, cleaned up a bunch and that seemed to help.
