Good Morning,

Is it possible to create a custom arrowhead and add it to the "Style" choices in the Edit Item dialog box?

Thanks,

Dave

The simple answer is ... No, it's not possible.

Many people have requested custom arrowheads, custom line types etc. At the moment, I believe that you have to work with what the program provides.

Thanks, Keith.  That's what I thought.  I guess I could create a symbol with the look I want, then insert it and edit the text.  I was hoping it could be done like saving custom profiles or symbols...

I have logged a suggestion to allow custom Arrowheads to be defined. Are there any specific styles that are missing?

What does your custom arrowhead look like Dave?

One of my clients likes this look, especially on design drawings.  We drew this in AutoCAD, extending the lines past a bit to give it a hand drawn look...

That is actually a common arrowhead in a few other programs.

Since you've logged a suggestion for Custom Arrowheads, perhaps you'd like to log one for custom linetypes too. I've modified my linetypes.def file to get mine, but there are many linetypes that are common, but are a lot easier as linetypes than trying to create them any other way.

I agree with the line types.  Seems like nobody uses information from Graphic Standards any more.
