NOTE: this is not just happening with softplan,

it's happening with all of windows programs.

MS WORD and all other programs have totally black backgrounds

and all fonts are white.

all  backgrounds on computer (windows 10), softplan,

and other programs went to black, (at least the ones I checked.

where the backgrounds didn't go to black, the areas around

words went to black and fonts went to white.

NOTE:  the forum stayed normal / white background / black fonts.

this happened after i updated to latest windows 10 update

anyone know how to fix this ?

btw,  fellow softplan user had me update to the latest nvidia driver.

that didn't help.

thanks richard,

that got me back to the "normal" white background.

now i need to get the "contrast"  back to normal.

somehow it's set  to HIGH contrast but can't

seem to get contrast down a bit.

i played with "contrast" a little but that didn't seem

to get it where i'd like it or where it used to be.

i don't usually play with those settings so not

really familiar with them

anyone know of a simple way to get "contrast" back to default or whatever ?

NOTICE:

this all happened "AFTER" i installed the latest "UPDATE" a few days ago.

Hi Randy.

From the Windows button at bottom left on your screen, go Settings > Ease of Access > Color and High Contrast > and at the "Choose a Theme" menu, pick "None". Note that you can enter contrast in the search bar of any of the settings pages and it will provide a link to where you want to go (maybe.)
