Not sure if this possible but figured this is the best place to ask. Can anyone tell me how to make a custom garage door from scratch that works in both 2D and 3D. The is the only thing that I wish softplan had more of. Most of the blocks are fine but a lot of my customers do the carriage style recessed door and the country doors they put on look nothing like what I end up putting on my homes. I can make the block in elevation view but it doesn't transfer to 3D view.

Virtually anything that you can draw in Softplan can be made into a 3D within Softplan itself (especially custom openings). Again, it's one of those things that seems daunting the first time you do it, but becomes second nature after you've done a few.
