We are new to Softplan, and wonder if there are straightforward ways to include traditional Southwestern architectural details, such as corbels, canales, vigas, latillas, etc.?

Are there special libraries available?

Thanks -

If you already have these items in 3D AutoCAD or Sketchup it is fairly quick and simple to create your own Softplan symbols.

Corbels are easily created using a polyline solids

Canales - I use openings, a blank should suffice.

Vigas can be created with the Lathe tool.

litillas can be shown using Log Beams.  However if i am not sure if you can taper beams.

Welcome to Softplan Bud,

I am in Santa Fe myself.

Thanks,
