I have a site plan that's outside of Softplan's World. I had DWG Trueview installed so that I can open dwg plans but I can't make any modifications with it. So yesterday, I downloaded DraftSight 2018 which is a free program and allows changes so that I can make simple changes when needed like moving a plan. I'm having a hard time moving the plan to the 0,0,0 setting. Any suggestions please?

If you're familiar with earlier versions of AutoCad then try Nanocad 5.0 which is free. It's very similar to AutoCad 2000i which is the last one I used, and I felt reasonably comfortable with it. I can't comment on similarity to later versions.

How big is it that it's outside Softplan's World? You can increase your drawing limits to 42440' x 42440' (8 miles x 8 miles) ...

Way out. I had someone adjust the plan and he's never seen a plan that far off before. Even after that, some items still remain outside of Softplans World so it must be pretty scattered. Must admit that this plan goes back a few years.

Hoping to learn how to relocate a plan so I can do it when needed.

Yvon,

This plan was so many, many miles out as to be ridiculous. Not sure who created it but they forgot a couple of basics along the way. I don't think there is anything in Softplan that could have helped this. Happy to help.
