I am trying to figure out the best way to do bobtail trusses/rafters in the roof mode. I am at a little bit of a crossroads. Do I just create a roof and do a bunch of holes and cuts, or do I adjust all the exterior walls to the height based on my slope and create a roof that adjusts to it all. To throw even more craziness to it I would be looking to having some of the areas being exposed rafters (like a pergola) over some areas.

I can. I overthinking it as I want some of the areas to continue with exposed rafters. I just did the math with the heel heights and put a hole in my roof and added the roof framing. Thanks
