SP has bucks for Garage Doors but it is not real for florida installations. Is it just florida or does the whole country use Jambs on interior of wall to install Garage Doors tracks?

In Georgia we use 2x6 on the inside after Sheetrock for jambs

Never tried it. Do you need it for softlist, 3d, or just floorplan?

We do the 2x6 jambs prior to drywall in PA. As for showing it, I just use a simple detail.

"Garage door bucks" newly added in 2016..

 

Edit the garage door... under the Miscellaneous TAB there is a check mark for "Garage Door Bucks"

I'm not sure if I completely understand the difference in what you are looking for, however the basic controls for how it frames the garage doors is on the misc tab on the opening edit.

How it behaves and size of buck can be controlled from the Drawing Options->Material Dimensions->Opening Options.

Interesting, In Ontario we also frame the interior of the garage doors like that. That's not what I expected when I read bucks though. I expected this:

great... and as Admin. points out, you can define the buck size and type in the Drawing Options..
