I just got softplan 2018 and I have some questions. I have only had it for a day and am looking at all the videos. I am moving over from autocad lt 2018

 

1) the windows and doors seem to have only frame rough openings but we do a lot of block. Is there a way to change the bucking size to account for this?

 

2) I have not seen away to do rebar placement or a symbol for it.

 

3) How do I do monolithic slabs? step footer and bell footer?

1) You can adjust the size of the opening components in the System Options (also Project & Drawing) in the Material Dimensions>Opening Options

2) Don't know if it's similar to what you're looking for but I created symbols for rebars to add to my section drawings
