Is it better to import from AutoCAD one drawing at a time vs. the entire file...which I just did and can't seem to separate out the individual drawings.  Copy and paste didn't seem like it was going to work and I eventually stop trying.

Is there another way?  I have only done this on s small scale before, maybe a drawing at a time, so I have very little experience importing from Autocad

Thank you,

Mike

I just switched from Autocad to SP a couple of months ago so I've had to import several projects to convert them to get them finished.  It seems to me that the less you import at a time the better it works.  Before importing, I move everything in the autocad drawing to one layer if possible.  Then it's easier to delete when you are through with it.  Just import the drawing you are working with at the time, delete it then import the next drawing.  That's what works best for me, your experience might be different.
