I often have this problem with the side gable at the front porch that has the top of the siding cutting at an angle. Just sent a ticket but realize that support is closed today.

Got the answer from tech support;
There is currently no provision in the program to create a gable end panel in that shape. You will need to fill in the area with a wall that is fit to the roof.
Odd. A must for 2020
