We are looking to better understand our customers that are Design companies.  That is, companies that create designs for others, builders or individuals, as a business – not designers that are employed directly by the Builder.

 

If you belong to this user group, how many designs do you produce each year?

About 180 last year, includes house, additions, and renovations.

We do about 120 designs per year. Ranging from decks to Custom homes. Anything that requires a building permit.

I did 280 last year and am on target to do at least the same this year (Houses. additions, garages and light commercial) most had Softlist reports done on them also)

Approx. 75 full homes per year.

I no longer do any small additions or renovations.

Most are 2,500 sf or larger.

Am retired from full time job but do approx. 50 projects  per year which includes houses, additions, garages/barns, and light commercial.

I'm not sure how this tells us anything without knowing what size the projects are....but I did 27 projects (all custom new construction) that averaged 6500 square feet each.

No facebook here... but I usually do around 130 projects.  Have done as many as 140+  They range from small garages to large projects 6000 SF+  Most are avg. 2000 sf plans.

We did a little over 200 projects last year. The vast majority of our projects are new homes of various size but we do a few additions, sheds, cabins, and storage buildings as well.

I'm just a one man operation and I do about 30 to 45 custom home and home remodels a year.

Sole proprietor doing about 50 projects a year ranging anywhere from new product for builders, lot specifics and custom homes and remodels.   Partnering with a builder to go into Design-Build so hopefully while not necessarily increase number of projects will increase the use of Softplan in using CDs, 3D modeling and softlist.
