Hello all,

I am not sure on this, but how do you change the tile size and color/Texture?

You have to be more specific. I haven't a clue what you want!

Will,  in 3D right click on the tile> surface edit>Options> Change the vertical and horizontal distances

Under Textures/Color tab select a new texture or tile color

Thanks, I figured that out after I posted this.  Been pretty busy!!  

 

I do have another question:

How do you stagger the tile? Have not figured that out.

You have to use a staggered tile pattern. A straight joint pattern cannot be staggered with a "setting".

If you don’t one or don't like the ones you have, you can download some from SketchUp Textures or other sites. Just make sure they’re seamless textures.

Will, if you give me a tile size, tile colour and a mortar/grout colour, I'll make you (or anyone else who want it) a seamless texture to suit (with tiles squared and staggered).

 

How do these examples look - these should work out at 36" x 36" (36 - 6" x 6") tiles in Softplan.

In case anyone is still reading this ...

 

I've designed a completely seamless tile texture that I can produce in ANY colour, with any colour mortar/grout (I can also stagger the rows if required). There's a little subtle shading difference in the tile shades to keep them interesting.

 

If ANYONE wants a specific colour tile/mortar combination for ANYTHING, let me know and I'll post it.

These are 6" tiles if you want bigger (or smaller) I can do that too.
