I re installed the application CD after I could not use review. It appears that it wiped out all my drawings, 10 years worth. Can I get them back? I haven't slept since.

Faith, Have you checked your C drive to see if you now have 2 Softplan folders?

If 2 open the folders and check the project folder to see if one may have your projects.

If you have Softplan + and saved them to the cloud you should be able to download from the

cloud which will recreate a project file in your projects folder.

It's almost impossible that it wiped out your drawings.

Do you keep your project folder in the Softplan folder? Do you NOT do backups ever?

Hope you can find them. What a nightmare! I back up to and internal backup drive, an external backup drive and I also have Carbonite backup should my house burn to the ground.

Try a search on the softplan file extension and that should fine your drawings, and at least, where they are located.  I use Softplan + and mainly for two reasons.  First reason is the backup to the cloud.  I do make copies of all my drawing files from time to time.  While that is good, if I lose them to a fire or thief, I am still out a treminous amount of work, so I use the cloud.  Other reason for Softplan plus is for tech support, as they have a fast turn around even though I do not need them often.  In the beginning I was not backing up enough from version to version and somehow lost files.  So I take a reason precaution since.

So a search on your computer for a folder called 'Projects', by default, this is where the drawings will be stored. If you haven't chosen a different location, you should find them. Also, if you've installed 2018, you should be prompted to migrate libraries and drawings from your previous install. If you chose not to do that, your old SoftPlan folder should just have been renamed and not deleted, your drawings should be in there.
