What exactly is the 3D drawing mode used for?  All I can get is a 2d of the floor plan.

The 3D drawing mode is generally used to position the camera in specific locations.

It is also used to add light sources and to create lighting symbols.

I use it to add things that I want to see in the 3D model but not show on the floor plans... mirrors over vanities, furniture, etc etc
